Terms of Service

Last updated 14 August 2026

Plain-language terms for voice over work. If we agree something different in writing for a specific project, that agreement takes priority over this page.

1. Quotes and booking

Quotes are based on the brief you provide — script length, language, where the recording will run, for how long, and how many versions. A quote is valid for 30 days. A booking is confirmed when you accept the quote in writing.

2. Licensing

You are licensing a recording for the use we agreed, not buying unlimited rights to it. Extending the use — a new territory, a new platform, a longer campaign, an extra version — is quoted separately. Please see the Voice, AI & Synthetic Use policy, which forms part of these terms.

3. Delivery

Standard turnaround is the same working day for short scripts, and 24–48 hours for longer ones, counted from receipt of the final script. Rush work depends on availability and may carry a premium. Files are delivered edited and cleaned, as WAV 44.1 kHz / 16-bit and MP3 unless you ask for something else.

4. Revisions

One performance revision is included — that covers anything I could reasonably have read better. Script changes, changes of direction after recording, additional versions, and pickups caused by revised copy are quoted separately.

5. Payment

Payment terms are agreed at booking. For new clients a deposit may be requested before recording. Licence rights transfer on receipt of full payment.

6. Cancellation

If a confirmed booking is cancelled before recording, no fee applies. If it is cancelled after recording has taken place, the full fee is payable.

7. Your script

You confirm that you own or have permission to use the script you send, and that recording it will not infringe anyone else's rights.

8. Portfolio use

I may use a short excerpt of completed work as a demo, unless you tell me not to. If your project is confidential, say so at booking and it will not appear anywhere. Confidential work is never published without written permission.

9. Liability

My liability for any project is limited to the fee paid for that project. I cannot be liable for indirect or consequential losses.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, with jurisdiction in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
